Some interesting points in this BBC article. I certainly have become a bit more aware that the web doesn't forget, ever. Comments I made, rightly or wrongly, will remain online until those websites finally get laid to rest. Even then they'll probably live on at the Internet Archive. So be careful what you write, especially with your own name attached. Imagine a future employer reading some of the things you wrote as a teenager. If you can, go back and read some of your own material posted 5, 10, 15 years ago and see how it makes you cringe.
