Internet Explorer 7

So, the day has come. IE7 has been out for a while and I have long heard rumours that Microsoft would be using Windows Update to foister it on people, this could be the fastest shift to a new browser ever, which is great news for anyone who builds web pages because we can stop supporting the legacy software.

I installed it earlier today and thought I'd run it over a few of my sites to see if I'd have to update anything and was surprised to find they all worked fine. I tend to design in Firefox then fix the errors in IE6 afterwards, and it turns out to be a good approach as the new version of IE is more standards compliant, something Firefox was out of the box, so no re-work for me. All you guys who had sites that worked in IE6 but not Firefox are stuffed though, serves you right for not putting the work in up front.
