Fog on the Tyne

We had fog (that's the marine layer for any San Franciscans -- sorry, but the entire family find references to the marine layer hilarious, it's fog, just like everywhere else gets, you're not special) today in Zoetermeer. We get fog in the UK, but it usually burns off as the sun comes up or gets blown away in a breeze. Not here it doesn't. It stays for the whole day so you live in a perpetual twilight and the temperature barely struggles above freezing. It's thick stuff too. I couldn't believe it, it makes the place very eerie.
