Blue is not a Seasonal Colour

Not sure what's going on this year but there seem to be a lot of blue/indigo-coloured lights about and they are just not festive at all. In fact, they're completely the opposite for me, they rip away any festive cheer. If you're going to put up lights, white, red, orange, green, purple, yellow and the occasional blue are great, I'm all for them, but not ream after ream of cold electric blue, it's ugly.
